Main Chute with Sierra Quitiquit, Julian Carr and Brody Leven

Keeping a watchful eye on Alta from the face of Baldy, Main Chute is not only one of the most visible runs in the Wasatch, but also one of the most fun and sought after by skiers near and far.

Riding up Collins, you can’t help but stare at its steep entrance and narrow exit and think – “I wonder if I could ski that?”

And while the ability to ski it is based purely on conditions, no skier’s Alta “Check List” is truly complete without at least one Main Chute run.

With prime conditions last week, Alta and Discrete athletes, Sierra Quitiquit, Julian Carr and Brody Leven were ready to ready to rock when patrol dropped the rope on this signature run.

Here’s a look at how it went down.
