The Supreme area Area is now closed to all backcountry skiing. After a 65'' storm, Alta's Avalanche office will be conducting control work in that area. And as a friendly reminder, Alta Ski Area will be closed to uphill traffic for the remainder of the ski season. Access to Catherine's pass remains open via the Summer Road.

For all backcountry travel please keep yourself educated through the amazing resources provided by the Utah Avalanche Center

Hey Alta - thanks so much for allowing us to build up some fitness before the ski season begins. It was nice to have some place to go and try and get the legs and lungs back. Every time I came across any of your staff they were kind and accommodating. I really really do appreciate you allowing us to take advantage of your snow making. Looking forward to joining you during the regular season!

Thank you for allowing backcountry access during the early season. It has been fun to ski Collins the last couple of weeks when snow conditions are low everywhere else!

Thanks for letting us hike uphill on your turf. As usual, Collins Gulch has the best early season conditions around.

Agreed with Carl.

Thanks Mike et al for the privilege of skiing corduroy before thanksgiving. Alta employees are accommodating in these circumstances and I appreciate the financial and logistical contribution Alta makes to the wasatch backcountry community.

Im proud of the way my employer gives back to the community. And proud to work for an independent ski area, not a resort.

Otto and All Altans I salute you for your vision and progressive nature.....the expanded Albian parking lot is a GREAT Metric for that vision......You are such a blessing. Preseason BC was epic thanks to your gracious generosity and allowance for our BC engagement. Enjoy Thanksgiving Week.......I again give THANKS to you.
