An on-site interview may be required, if you have not been employed previously by Alta Ski Area. Interviews are conducted by supervisors in each department during September, October and November.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, if you have provided false information on this application, but are hired by the Company after the interviewing process, you may be immediately terminated from employment with the company.

If you receive an offer of employment, it is conditioned upon your passing a pre-employment physical screening that will test your knees, shoulders, back, and other physical conditions. If you do not pass the physical screening, and there is no reasonable accommodation that can be made to allow you to perform the essential functions of the job, your conditional offer of employment may be rescinded. Although each decision is made on a case-by-case basis after considering the requirements of the position applied for and the individual’s specific limitations, here are a couple of examples that may cause you to fail the physical screening. If you have an injured ACL that has not been surgically repaired and rehabilitated, you may not pass the physical screening. Likewise, if you have a shoulder you have injured or dislocated previously that is significantly weaker and/or has a limited range of motion as compared to your uninjured shoulder, you may not pass the physical screening.

If you receive an offer of employment, you may be required to ski as part of the essential functions of the job. Alta Ski Area may require you to participate in a skiing evaluation to determine your ski level.

Alta Ski Area is an “at-will” employer. I understand and agree that if I am employed by Alta Ski Area, I will be an employee “at-will”. This means that I may terminate my employment at any time, for any reason, and likewise, the Company may terminate my employment at any time, for any reason, with or without cause. I further understand that any employment with the Company is for no specific duration, and that no one employed by the Company has any authority to alter my at-will employment status. My valid email address below completes my application, and binds me to this agreement.
