Santa traded in his sleigh for a ride on the magic carpet this morning. The kids at the Alf Engen Ski School were overjoyed by his jolly visit and for the chance to place some last minute gift requests.
The last solar eclipse visible from North America was in 1979. During coverage, ABC reporter Frank Reynolds said in reference to the next eclipse "...that will be 38 years from now. May the shadow of the moon fall on a world at peace." The next total eclipse for North America will be April 8, 2024. Challenge accepted...
