Skier Services is looking for friendly and helpful team members to work at our lift base areas. This position enables you to interact with our skiers and gives you the opportunity to enjoy ski breaks throughout the workday.

Shifts will be an average of 5.5 to 7.75 hours per day. This is an outdoor position where employees must stand at the RFID lift gates. Housing may be available for this position.

Job Responsibilities

• Check tickets to ensure skiers have their own valid product when they scan through the ticket gates
• Assist skiers with ticket issues
• Assist Lift Operators in shoveling
• Promote a friendly environment for skiers at Alta.
• Perform daily check of RFID gates to ensure functionality
• Pull lift tickets for misuse

Job Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to stand for an entire shift
• Have the ability to view information and text on a 10” tablet screen
• Able to work on uneven and slippery surfaces
• Able to work outdoors in varied winter conditions
• Need ski equipment
• Work a minimum of 3 days per week
• Be friendly and welcoming to skiers
