Your Alta Season Pass provides unique benefits at Alta and abroad.

Your Alta Ski Area Season Passes provide unique perks that you may not find at other ski areas. Enjoy no blackout dates, discounts for family and friends, discounted Ikon Base pass add-on option, free skiing at other Wasatch ski destinations, half-priced skiing at partner resorts and discounts on services at Alta-owned ski shops.


Enjoy no blackout dates with your Alta Season Pass—your direct-to-lift key to the Alta castle. Paid parking reservations are required Friday–Sunday & holidays.

Parking Benefits

Friday–Sunday & holiday parking reservations for qualifying Alta passholders. Qualifying Alta and Alta-Bird passholders will receive parking code(s) that can be used to book free parking reservations. Parking codes may be reused once the active reservation date has passed.

  • Qualifying Alta passes: Family Package, Adult, 65+, 80+, 18–25, Military, Gold Card, Powder Card & 10-Day Card.
  • Qualifying Alta-Bird passes: Family Package, Adult, 65+, 18–25 & Military.

Family & Friends Benefits

Returning for the 2022-23 season, qualifying Alta season passholders will have access to five 25%-off All Day Alta lift tickets for family and friends. Present your Alta season pass at any ticket window to receive this day-of discount.

  • Family & Friends discounts may not be used in conjunction with any other discount.


Back for the 2022-23 season, the Wasatch Benefit includes one free day of skiing at each of the following ski areas: Snowbird, Brighton, and Deer Valley.

  • Wasatch Benefit is not valid on weekends or holidays (Saturdays & Sundays along with December 26th–31st, 2022; January 14–15th, 2023; February 18–19th, 2023)
  • Not available for Midweek and 80+ season passes or Pay-As-You-Ski Cards (Sunnyside At 3, Gold Card, 10-Day and Powder Card).

Discounted Ikon Base Pass for Alta Passholders | Not Available after December 1st

Returning for the 2022–23 season, qualifying Alta season passholders will have the opportunity to purchase an Ikon Base Pass add-on for just $299. As an Alta season passholder, you can now add skiing at 50 Ikon destinations for a special discounted rate.

  • Not available for Midweek and 80+ season passes or Pay-As-You-Ski Cards (Sunnyside At 3, Gold Card, 10-Day and Powder Card).
  • The Ikon Base Pass add-on does not include days at Alta-Bird, Deer Valley, Snowbasin, Sun Valley, Jackson Hole or Aspen Snowmass.
  • The Ikon Base add-on cannot be upgraded to an Ikon or Ikon Base Plus Pass.
  • Blackout dates for the Ikon Base Plus Pass and the Ikon Base add-on are December 26th–31st, 2022; January 14–15th, 2023; February 18–19th, 2023.

Free Ridership on the UTA Ski Bus

Qualifying Alta Season Passes also include UTA Benefit, a continued partnership with the Utah Transit Authority (UTA).

  • Includes Trax and other UTA bus services only when used in transit with a Ski Bus Route.
  • Use on TRAX or other UTA bus services without a Ski Bus Route may result in forfeiture of the UTA Benefit.
  • Not included with Pay-As-You-Ski or Prepaid Cards
