The Alf Engen Ski School is hiring passionate skiers interested in becoming ski instructors to work as apprentices to the certified instructors. Gain professional experience with the opportunity to pursue PSIA Level 1 Certification and become an instructor at Alta.

This is an hourly, paid position. Varied part-time schedules are available.

Qualifications for this position include

• A high comfort level working with young children
• Advanced alpine skiing skills
• A desire to learn about skiing and teaching it
• Tolerance for strenuous physical work in an outdoor winter environment
• Background screening required
• Minimum commitment from mid-November to mid-April
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Individuals employed in this role will work as apprentices to lead certified instructors during group lessons, as well as perform other duties as needed to facilitate the smooth operation of Alta's Children’s Ski Adventure programs as well as family and adult beginner zone lessons.
