Lift Ticket FAQs
Skiers that reload tickets online can skip the ticket window and go directly to the lift. This is awesome stuff, saving you both time and money. If you need to reload a ticket at the ticket window, please bring the Alta Card you would like to reload. An Alta Card is a hard, plastic card with a printed Web ID.
Best pricing is available online when you buy four days ahead of the date you want to ski. Within four days, tickets are full price.
Online ticketing will be available in mid-November.
Lift tickets can be refunded online until 11:59pm (Mountain Time) prior to the purchased ski day. Log in to your Alta account to process your refund.
Instead of a half-day lift ticket, Alta offers Afternoon and Late-Afternoon lift tickets that can be purchased online or at any Alta ticket window.
- Afternoon lift tickets are valid from 12:30-4:30pm
- Late-Afternoon lift tickets are valid from 2:30-4:30pm
Prepaid lift tickets can be issued at any Alta Ski Area Ticket Office or Ticket Pick-Up Box—located at Albion Ticket Office, Wildcat Ticket Office or Skier Services.
Remember to bring the barcode from your purchase confirmation email and a photo ID.
