UTA Ski Bus

Alta Ski Area is easily accessible via public transportation. From the airport, hotel or home. From Ogden to Park City to Provo, UTA has a way to get you to the mountains. When parking is full, the UTA Ski Bus may be the best way to get to Alta on busy days.

The Utah Transit Authority (UTA) is experiencing staffing shortages and hiring challenges. As a result of this ongoing shortage, UTA is making several emergency bus service adjustments.

2022–23 Alta season passes that include the UTA Benefit (now including Ikon passes) receive free ridership on all UTA Ski Bus Routes. Includes Trax and other UTA bus services only when used in transit with a Ski Bus Route.

*Use on TRAX or other UTA bus services without a Ski Bus Route may result in forfeiture of the UTA Benefit.

UTA operates a free Ski Bus route between Alta and Snowbird.
