(AEX)

Alta Explorers (AEX) is an eight-week program sculpting fundamental skiing skills and progress toward parallel turning and speed control on more difficult intermediate runs.

Ages 9–13 | 8-week program | Saturdays or Sundays

Minimum skills required:

  • Beginner runs
  • Wedge turns
  • Ability to ride Sunnyside lift independently

Alta Explorers (AEX) is an eight-week recreational ski program on Saturdays or Sundays for novice skiers ages 9–13. Participants will practice fundamental skiing skills and progress toward parallel turning and speed control on more difficult intermediate runs.

The minimum skill level to participate is confidently controlling speed with wedge turns on beginner runs. Three or four All-Day Ski Adventure Class Lessons and a few hours of independent practice would be the norm for this age group to acquire the minimum skills.

The approximate coaching ratio is 1 to 8 participants.

Parking Permits
