Look for animal tracks and learn about the wildlife that left them, all while surrounded by some of Utah's most beautiful mountains. Naturalist guides talk about everything from animal adaptations and trees, to the history of Little Cottonwood Canyon and Alta!

Snowshoes are not provided, so please bring your own set of snowshoes. Snowshoe rentals are available at the Alta Ski Shop.
Where to meet
Fifteen minutes before noon outside the east end of the Albion Day Lodge near the ski racks.
Attention Educators
Take your students on a field trip they won't forget! Connect students with the basic science of their watershed and the natural history of the area. Call for more info and to schedule an outing.
Registration required
Pre-registration and payment are required to secure your spot! Snowshoe tours are limited, so registration for a particular date will be pending our email confirmation after you have submitted this form.
