We have already seen our first snowfall of the season and we are counting down the days until Opening Day of the 2024–25 season. Opening Day is tentatively scheduled for Friday, November 22nd—conditions permitting.

We will provide expected lifts and terrain openings as we get closer to Opening Day.
Grooming & Terrain
The snowcats have been hard at work moving snow and grooming some of Alta's main thoroughfares in Collins Gulch and the Albion Basin. While Sunnyside is under construction, intermediate and expert skiers can ski to the Albion base area via Devil's Elbow and Homerun.
Collins Gulch will offer off-piste skiing from Westward Ho through the High Traverse.
Lift Tickets
- Lift tickets will go on sale in late October
- Season Passes are on sale now—purchase by October 2nd for our best fall pricing
- Mountain Collective passes will be accepted on Opening Day
Food & drink: TBD
The Albion Grill and Watson Shelter will be ready for Opening Day, serving a wide array of delicious food and drink.
Looking for a pick-me-up? Alta Java, Baldy Brews and the Slopeside Cafe are all open serving up your favorite cup of coffee and more.
Parking & Transportation
- Parking reservations will not be required on Opening Day
- Parking reservations will be required starting December 13, 2024
- Parking reservation codes for qualifying Alta Season Passes will be sent in mid-October
Transportation
- The UTA Ski Bus will not be in service until December
