Since 1968, The Shallow Shaft Restaurant has been winning over Alta’s powder hungry skiers with our casual approach to fine dining. Our intimate dining room overlooks Little Cottonwood Canyon, giving spectacular views of the sunset and the sleepy town of Alta. The Top of the Lodge Restaurant serves breakfast and dinner daily through the winter season. Enjoy stunning views of Alta Ski Area and Mount Superior from the third floor of the Goldminer’s Daughter Lodge. Start off your day with a full buffet and cook-to-order breakfast, then cap off a great ski day with a delicious meal from our a la carte menu with daily specials.
Alta Peruvian Lodge
Alta Peruvian Lodge offers a breakfast buffet with a wide selection. Our lunch menu consists of soup, salad, sandwiches, chili, a hot entrée, and for the sweet tooth, fruit and cookies. Each afternoon after skiing, complimentary snacks and bar appetizers are served in the lobby and pool area. Dinner is served family style with a four-course meal served each night, other than Saturday, which is the lodge’s Grand Buffet Night.
Slopeside Cafe at the Goldminer's Daughter
Whether you’re looking for that early morning caffeine kick to start your day, or a mid-day burger break, the Slopeside Café has you covered.
Accessed from the deck or inside the lodge, serving a delicious assortment of breakfast and lunch items, espresso drinks and beers from 7am--5pm.
The GMD patio is the perfect spot to soak in some sun and share an après-ski beverage.
The only thing taller than a giant plate of our famous Goldminer’s Nachos is that cliff you dropped last year (which somehow got bigger this year). Unwind with friends over beers, wings, or our famous Goldminer’s Pizza.
The Goldminer's Saloon is a great spot to warm up next to the fire, shoot some pool, or drink a beer while taking in unrivaled views of Mount Superior and Little Cottonwood Canyon.
